The Beastie Boys new album is called HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE.
It's like they're speaking directly to me...
As a side note, I got 100% doing the vocals to this song playing Rockband. Boom!

Only love can break your heart...
Today marks the anniversary of Neil Young leaving Crosby Stills Nash and Young.
His first single after going solo was the ever famous "Only Love Can Break Your Heart". He wrote it for Graham Nash who had just broken up with Joni Mitchell.
As if this song isn't amazing and heart wrenching already - knowing this makes it that much BETTER!
What a crazy circle of friends.
Good tune for this gloomy day.

It's Not Easy Being Green
Growing up, the Muppet Show was one of my absolute favourite shows! After discussing Dr.Teeth and the Electric Mayhem band and dancing like a muppet with Giles the other day, I decided to youtube Muppet Show musical guests...
Don't you wish they still made shows like this?
This makes me so happy you don't even know...
Waka waka waka...

K-OS @ THE KOOLHAUS
Some mysterious band of bearded men opened up for K-os...
I went there a bit skeptical about this show after the Manifesto main event last year @ Nathan Philips... but K-os rocked it pretty hard for the few songs we stayed for. We left early to go to Bang the Party's 3 year Anniversary @ The Boat... Wish we had stayed a little longer to catch a few more songs, but oh well...
As a side note, they were handing out "K-os Rogers paper Dolla Dolla bling" necklaces which was really bizarre... which I thought was a stark contrast against the photo of K-os and David Suzuki being projected onto the screens the whole time since those damn paper dollar bills were scattered all over the spot... I never did get to find out what both were about? Somebody wasn't doing their marketing job right...

Lady Sov @ Lee's Palace
Remember when you were in highschool and you went to your friends house party and his little brother got drunk for the first time... and he was loud and annoying and it made everyone really uncomfortable when he started throwing shit around the living room and ended up puking on the hood of someone's car and passing out in the neighbours garden?...
Well that's what it was like watching Lady Sov at Lee's Palace on Friday.
It was like watching an unruly 12 year old boy who can't handle his liquor try to vie for your attention.
We left after 3 songs.
